About Collings Lakes Elementary School:

Welcome to the Collings Lakes School website! On this website you will be able to find information about the administration, staff and news about your school.


Here at Collings Lakes Elementary School, we strive for our students to obtain the tools necessary to achieve success, not only in the classroom but also in life. The student teacher relationship in essential in our attempt to mold citizens as they further their education in school and eventually into the workplace of our great society.

Collings Lakes Elementary enrollment consists of students from grades Kindergarten to Grade Two. Our school day will begin at 9:30 and end at 3:45. Students are not to be dropped off at the entrance prior to 9:10. Breakfast is served daily and is free to all students that qualify for free and reduced lunch. The BRSD Latchkey Program has been replaced with the Before/After School Program run by the YMCA and held at this location for students who attend CLES. Enrollment forms can be obtained online by visiting the YMCA or the District Website.


Support services included a full time Resource Center teacher for special education students, a Speech-Language Pathologist, and two Reading /Literacy/Math BSI Teachers. Special area teachers include Physical Education, Health, Art, Music, Library, as well as the Guidance Counselor. The district's Child Study Team also provides services to the school.


Our school strives to follow the district's philosophy that "All children can learn". Student's accomplishments are rewarded with praise. Their failures addressed with understanding. The staff continues to volunteer their time to plan activities that promote school and community involvement. These activities have increased student awareness and have strengthened community relations.
